The Gear

Traveling for a year poses some serious questions about what to pack. For one, we'll live out of our luggage for an entire year. What to bring to span beach, tropics, nights out, the bush and high mountain trekking? Once we decide on what to bring, how do we carry it all? Proper backpack? Steamer trunks & Sherpas? Rolling luggage? A year around the world also means we'll want to save our memories and stay in touch with family & friends. How do we do this without being overloaded with gear? We tackle this and more as we make our way Round the World.

Check out this section for thoughts on clothing to cover all seasons as well as a few extras we found indispensable on our trip.
